Re: Annual Golf Tournament and Comedy Dinner
Dear Santa Maria Police Council Members and Supporters,
This year the Santa Maria Police Council Board of Directors has decided to cancel our Annual Golf Tournament and Comedy Dinner that was scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2020. The uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation has and is putting a strain on all of us individually as well as our businesses. Consequently, the Council felt it was in our community’s best interest to cancel the event entirely for this year to allow all of us to concentrate on and support one another in overcoming these unprecedented times.
The Council is concerned about our members, supporters and community as a whole and we are praying that the COVID-19 circumstances will bring us together and make us stronger and more resilient in the future. Please stay healthy and we look forward to next year’s event when we have put our current circumstances behind us.
